The room

One chair, one client, and time to do it properly

The Beauty Room is exactly that. A single treatment room, set up and run by Jemma, where the appointment you booked is the only one happening. Tools go through the steriliser between every client, towels are fresh, and nobody is being hurried out so the next person can sit down.

That is the reason a lot of the price list is built the way it is. Maintenance pricing for regulars, junior pricing for under sixteens, a free patch test you can book on its own before a first tint, and treatments that run to the minute they need rather than the minute the diary wants.

The therapist

Jemma

Jemma is a diploma beauty therapist and The Beauty Room is hers. She trained locally, built the room up from a first birthday that was celebrated on her own Facebook page, and has clients who started with her while she was still studying.

One of them put it better than any description would. She moved away from town, and still comes back just to get her brows done.

She also takes the room on the road now and then, setting up at local events with the chair, the trolley and the kit, which is where the photo beside this came from.

I've since left town But I come back just to see Jemma, her facials are next level, her eyebrows are perfection in fact anything she does is next level amazing. She's a beautiful human as well.
